1. COMPETITIVE EVENTS
RACE SCRATCHING POLICY
a) Scratching from an event must be advised in writing before the original close of entry advertised for the race. If a rider scratches prior to this time they will be refunded their entry fee minus an $11 administration fee. If advised after this point entry fee will be forfeited and no credit will be issued.
b) If a rider scratches after the original close of entry advertised for the race, a medical certificate for illness or injury must be provided to the office within 7 days of the event, and their entry fee will be refunded within 21 days.

EVENT CANCELLATION (Natural Events)
"In the case where an event is cancelled due to directive of Cycling Victoria (CV), the issuing of a refund will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis."
Rationale: In the case where a race is cancelled due to safety concerns as a result of weather CV will review offering a refund to riders on a case-by-case basis. CV will work closely with the organiser to host another event in lieu of this event however this may not always be possible.

USE OF CREDIT
Please note under the new policies CV will no longer be issuing credits as of December 5, 2010.
2. RECREATIONAL EVENTS
In the case that you are unable to participate in one of CV's Recreational events after entering, event a credit note, minus a $10 administration fee, can be issued. The credit note will be valid for use in any CV Recreational event within 12 months of the date of issue.
In order to be eligible for a credit note you must notify the Event Coordinator of your withdrawal within one week of the event. No credit notes will be issued after this date.
No refunds or transfers are possible under any circumstances.
Credit note requests should be sent to the Event Coordinator.
