Rules: Change of Technical Regulations for Handcyclists
The Cycling Victoria Technical Commission has amended Technical Regulation's 3.99.07 and 3.99.07 relating to handcyclists. The amended regulations are as follows –
3.99.07 ROAD RACES
1. For all Road Race events handcyclists shall:

Display a red flag at the rear of their bike that has a height of at least 1.5 metres from the road

Wear a high visibility jacket (supplied by Cycling Victoria)

Display a flashing light at the rear of their bike

Supply support vehicles to follow the riders (flashing lights and 'caution cyclist ahead' sign supplied by Cycling Victoria)

Races must begin with a neutralised rolling start of at least 200 metres to enable all athletes to be safely and fairly underway.
3.99.08 INDIVIDUAL TIME TRIALS
1. For all Individual Time Trial events handcyclists shall:

Display a red flag at the rear of their bike that has a height of at least 1.5 metres from the road

Wear a high visibility jacket (supplied by Cycling Victoria)

Display a flashing light at the rear of their bike
