Club Development - Club Funding Opportunities
There are a number of funding opportunities/grants available to clubs from the various governments and organisations. We have provided a list below but clubs should conduct their own research into what is available out there in terms of funding.
It is a big and sometimes time consuming area, but can be quite fruitful for clubs. Given the time that can be spent researching and applying for funding for the club, perhaps a member could be nominated as the 'Grants & Funding Officer'.

Sport & Recreation Victoria www.sport.vic.gov.au Provides grants and funding to support groups from local community clubs through to the elite level
VicHealth www.vichealth.vic.gov.au Makes it easier for clubs by offering funding through Active Club Grants for sports injury prevention equipment, essential equipment, portable shade and volunteer and club training.
