When will I receive my Rider Number?

Those who enter before 11.59pm on Thursday 24th May will receive their official participant number and timing tag in the mail. All entries received after this time will be available for collection at the Event Information Tent on the morning of the event.  

It is essential that you bring your participant number and timing tag with you on event day.

When can I view the Rider Information Kit?

Rider Information Kits will be emailed to all participants on Monday 28th May. 

It will also be available to download from the 'Rider Information Kit' page on the website.

The Rider Information Kit will include all the information required to have a safe and enjoyable event in addition to allocated start waves, emergency contact numbers and refreshment stop locations. Be sure to read this information carefully prior to the ride to avoid confusion on event day.

When will I receive my 12 month Cycling Victoria Recreational membership?

For those who have purchased the optional 12 month Cycling Victoria Recreational membership with their entry, you can expect to receive the membership within approximately 4 weeks of the event. This membership will be posted to you directly from Cycling Australia. If you have not received your membership please contact Cycling Australia on (02) 9339 5800.

Can I change from one course distance to another?

 
If you wish to change from the 110km to the 50km event, you must return your 110km participant number to the Event Information Tent on the morning of the event, so you can be issued with a new 50km participant number.
If you wish to change from the 50km to the 110km event you will need to contact Cycling Victoria before 4pm on Friday 25th June on (03) 84803000. 
 

What is the minimum age of entry?

 
The minimum age of entry for all participants is 16 years as at event date June 3, 2012. No participants will be accepted if they do not meet this criterion due to the event insurance cover provided as part of the event.
 

Having Trouble with the Online System?

 
The online entry system has been designed to increase participant security and ensure all private details remain protected.  All entries are now facilitated through the Active Network.

Can I get a refund if I am unable to participate on the day?

Refunds for the Event are available as follows. If a registered rider wishes to cancel his/her participation in the Event, the Rider must notify CV in writing, providing his/her name, address, rider number and reason for cancelling. Written cancellations received before 5pm, Friday 6 April 2012 (AEST) will be refunded 75% of their entry fee. Written cancellations received after 5pm, Friday 6 April 2012 (AEST) but before 9am, Monday 21 May 2012 (AEST) will be refunded 50% of their entry fee. No refunds will be offered for cancellations received after 9am, Monday 21 May 2012 (AEST). Entries are non-transferable.
