Cyclesport Victoria

Cycling Victoria will again be conducting a state Junior Tour series for junior riders which will attract trophies for the category winners, both male and female.

The series will also serve the purpose of providing a series of events which will assist in the selection of the Victorian Junior Road team to compete in the Australian Junior Road Championships. The Championships will be held in Canberra September 7-9, 2012

Points System

Points will be awarded for each championship event and each stage of the relevant tours.  Double points will be awarded for the Victorian Championship events.

Points allocation will be as follows:

1^st – 65                  2^nd – 50                 3^rd – 40                 4^th – 35
5^th – 30                  6^th – 25                  7^th – 20                  8^th – 15
9^th – 10                  10^th – 5

Also note, this is the point system that will be used at each Tour.

Series Award Presentations

Awards will be presented at the 2012 Victorian Junior Road Championships in Wangaratta at the conclusion of the Road Race (day 2)
